Aedes Albopictus

You may know it by its common name, the Asian tiger mosquito. These guys can also transmit dengue and the Zika and Chikungunya virus to you. They feed equally from people, rabbits, dogs, and any other mammal they can find. Like Aedes Aegypti, they feed during the day and can be found all through the sunshine state.
Anopheles Barberi
This is a mosquito that you can find breeding in tree-holes and is also a vector for malaria. Humans are the most common host for this kind of mosquito. These are also the reason you can’t go outside at night in this state. They’re found mostly throughout northern Florida, but can also be found in southern and central parts of the state on occasion.
Anopheles Albimanus
This is another tree-hole breeding mosquito. You can also find this guy spreading malaria, too. It’s invasive to the U.S. and, once again, people are the most common host. These guys are a cloud over the southeastern part of the state, but plenty is blown to the central areas by the wind. A good target for the Brandon mosquito exterminator.
Signs of Infestation
Mosquito infestations are possible on your property and even in your home. Here are some signs. Consistent buzzing in your ear, especially at night, is a big tell. So is constantly scratching and itchiness. If you see them flying around in the early evening or hovering over your fruit, you probably have an infestation. So what should you do?
