Our Coronavirus Safety Steps
Since Earth’s Best is an essential business, we have worked hard to reduce the exposure to our clients and employees. We are remaining vigilant in dealing with customer responses and reports of infestations, as the fight against these pests never ends. Our service techs will adhere to social distancing rules and stop the greeting practice of handshaking. We will also be practicing the minimum distancing whenever possible. Our treatments will also take place on the outside of your home unless the infestation absolutely requires us inside.
Of course, stricter hygiene practices are also being enforced. Our employees will wash their hands before they enter your homes or businesses, and once again before leaving the worksite. Each of our vehicles is also stocked with hand sanitizer, soap, and water. Protective equipment will be supplied to our service technicians and worn at their discretion or the request of the customer. This gear includes respirators, gloves, goggles, and shoe covers. We have reduced the need for signatures from clients unless required by the state.
Whenever possible, those forms will be emailed for the client to return, executed, via email. When a signature is required, the client can use their own pen. If they elect to use our pen, our staff will dispose of the pen and use a new one. Each vehicle has a supply of pens, so you don’t have to worry about us running out either. And finally, the surfaces at the office are cleaned daily, as well as our techs vehicles, phones, and keys.
