Moth flies get their name because they resemble tiny moths. These critters do not bite nor do they sting. When found in homes, you can find them near showers, toilets, sinks and drains. Moth flies are attracted to residue in drains, refrigerator drip pans and other wet conditions such as leaky pipes.
To control these pests, remove standing water, clean drains and clean under the refrigerator. By removing these items, you remove the three elements the moth flies need to survive: Food, Water and Shelter
